Air France innovates and launches chewing gum that softens pressure

Many passengers are bothered by the pressure in the ear that the flight causes, especially at times of takeoff and landing. The cabin pressure varies and can block the passengers’ ears. With that in mind, Air France has created its own brand of chewing gum, La gomme à mâcher.

Two flavors are available, both local style: pistachio macaroons and crème brûlée. The gum is made in France and is 100% natural, according to the air.

The product is now available This before takeoff on AF066 flights from Paris to Los Angeles (USA), AF084 from Paris to San Francisco (USA) and AF178 to Mexico City (Mexico), all departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport . The gum will also be offered in several Air France lounges also at the airport (Terminal 2E, hall M, K, L and 2 F1, F2, G) and in Paris-Orly (hall 3).

Air France currently operates 21 weekly flights in Brazil, departing from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo direct to Paris.
