The new flight will begin on December 21 and, through its strategic alliance with Gol, will expand the reach of this service to 23 other destinations in Brazil with uninterrupted connections at the Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro.

The GIG-JFK route will be operated by a Boeing 767-300 aircraft, with a capacity of 210 passengers. There are 35 armchairs in the Delta One cabin, 32 Delta Comfort + seats and 143 in the main cabin. Delta’s latest enhancements include the introduction of new sleep kits and several other amenities on flights to and from Brazil.
