Figures: Gol carries 15.5 million in the first half

In June, Gol had a 5.7% drop in total take-offs over the same period last year. Between domestic and international flights, the total available seats decreased 5.6%, causing a decline in the offer of 6.4%, according to previous figures released by the carrier.

Demand, in turn, fell 2.5% in the sixth month of the year. With this partial result, the occupancy rate was 78.1%, and yet the company performed a growth of 3.1% in relation to June of last year.

In the domestic market, Gol closed the month with a reduction of 4.8% in supply and 1.1% in demand. Even so, compared to the same month in 2016, the aircraft occupancy rate was 79% (+ 2.9%).

The offer for international services decreased significantly: 19%. Demand shrank 14.4% and the occupancy rate rose to 70.1% (+ 3.8%).

In the accumulated of the year, the air dropped 9.8% in the number of departures. In turn, the total number of seats followed the same pace and fell 9.4%. The offer was down 2.4% and, with this, aircraft occupancy increased by 0.6%. The total number of passengers transported in the first half was 15.55 million (-3.9%).
