Maritime company will have facial recognition and more technological innovations

Royal Caribbean Cruises is implementing a series of digital innovations designed to eliminate travel frustrations. The idea is to make the passenger experience even better and easier through gadgets. The main transformations are the implantation of facial recognition, which aims to reduce queues at the time of check-in and return to the vessel.
Another new feature is the tablet and smartphone apps that will allow you to hire shore excursions, order drinks and make dinner reservations without leaving the lounge chair by the pool. These are some of the modernization proposals of Royal Caribbean Cruises.
“The pace of change is tireless – just like us,” said Richard D. Fain, chairman and CEO of RCL. “We are bringing together diverse technologies to enhance every facet of our business, every minute of our passengers’ vacations and every inch of the ships we build.”
