In Maceió, new hotels can move up to R$ 101 mi in 2017

The capital of Alagoas will have, this year, four new hotels, which should be inaugurated in the coming months. Above all, the local Tourism Secretariat commemorates the economic impact of R $ 111 million due to the openings. There will be 1.8 thousand beds added to the destinations and 240 people employed.

One of the hotels is the Intercity Condo Hotel in Ponta Verde, which has an investment of R $ 25 million. It will generate 425 new beds and 70 direct jobs. Record Offices & Suites, also in Ponta Verde, had an investment of R $ 11 million, will generate 623 beds and employ 70 people.

Hotel growth in Alagoas

According to data from the Department of Economic Development and Tourism (Sedetur), Alagoas currently has 22 hotels under construction, installation or expansion of the existing structure, with investments totaling at least R $ 329.5 million.
