Greve can delay immigration in Portugal

Travelers traveling to Europe have been warned of possible delays due to a strike by border control officials. The information is from the Business Traveler portal. The stoppage must take place on Thursday (24) and Friday (25).

“If you are traveling on those days, allow additional time to ‘clear’ the border controls when entering and leaving Portugal,” said the International Office (FCO) of the United Kingdom.

The low cost Easyjet also warned its passengers about any delays. The recommendation is to arrive at least two hours before the original departure time.

“At that point, we expect to maintain our flight schedule for all Portuguese airports – Lisbon, Faro, Funchal, Porto and Ponta Delgada, but we do not expect to see delays,” he said in a statement.
