The place where time stopped

The most important point of Prague Castle is the cathedral of St. Vito. As you enter the feeling of being in a place where time has stopped. Beautifully decorated interior by medieval masters is perfectly lit by sunlight, which enters through stained glass windows. Fairy Tale Houses
The visit to Prague Castle would not be complete without visiting the Gold Street. This lovely little alley next to the wall, is adorably quaint with very colorful little houses. According to the legend they were inhabited by alchemists who worked for the emperor Rodolfo II, that wanted to discover the magic potion of the youth, as well as the Stone of the Sage. Do not miss the house number 22, where he lived and wrote Franz Kafka, one of the most famous writers in Prague.

Gothic baroque renaissance …

In a few hours you can visit the Romanesque basilica of St George with its mystical interior, the Gothic Royal Palace, the wide baroque courtyards, the Renaissance palace of Queen Anna and the ultramodern greenhouse in the royal gardens.
