MSC announced the opening of sales for its second cruise around the world, the MSC World Cruise, leaving in 2020. “Following the successful launch of our first roadmap last year, starting in January 2019, we are very pleased in announcing the opening of sales for a new round the world, “the company announced.
The MSC World Cruise 2020 will have a new itinerary that will include 117 days, 43 destinations, 23 countries, five continents, four boarding points and eight overnight stops. “The experience aboard the MSC Magnifica – one of the jewels of our fleet – is designed to reflect the cultures and cuisine of the countries that the ship will visit, giving travelers the opportunity to truly immerse themselves in this journey both on board and in land, “said Gianni Onorato, the company’s CEO.
Guests will be able to board Civitavecchia / Rome, Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona on January 4, 5, 6 and 7, 2020 respectively, and will return by the end of April. Among the more than 40 scales, some novelties will be: Ushuaia, in Argentina; Rapa Nui, on Easter Island; Darwin, Australia; Valparaiso, Chile; Mumbai, India; and Salalah, in Oman. The overnight stops “offer travelers up to two days to experience local attractions, cuisine and unique atmospheres,” MSC said.
The cruise around the world will provide all the services of MSC Aurea SPA, one of the largest proportions of seaside cabins, several gastronomic options, 15 excursions included and others that can be booked, package of drinks at meals, 30% discount in all laundry services, over 90 performances at the Royal Theater – including 30 Broadway-style shows and shows inspired by the destination visited, and even theme nights, language classes and cultural activities.
Members of the shipowner’s loyalty program, MSC Voyagers Club, will be the first to have access to reservations for this exciting tour and from November 23 onwards, other travelers will also be able to secure their cabins aboard the MSC Magnifica. For those with other loyalty programs, it is possible to join MSC at an equivalent level or higher, through Status Match.
