American Park Launches Exclusive Agent Service

A customer service is always welcome, especially in the case of international travel. The Universal Orlando Resort, however, has gone beyond and launched a specific SAC to assist travel agents with reservations in their hotels and other issues.

Universal’s new service guarantees three channels of contact for the agent: a professional-only call center, an on-line chat with immediate attendees at VAX Vacation Access – Universal’s official booking portal for agents – and text message .

“Customers who choose to hire a travel agent are more aware and know what to expect. They have been duly educated, given tips and suggestions to improve their experience, and we want to value who adds that value,” said the vice president. Universal Parks and Vacation Resorts, Fernando Flores Kato, while extolling the importance of the agents to the company.

Kato further revealed that 20 people will work on the agent’s service team, but that there is a possibility of adding more employees during the high season.
