Find out which airports are the most pleasant in the world

A company specializing in appraisals, Happy Or Not has unveiled airport-specific research data around the world in 2017. Of the 160 airport equipment in 36 different countries, the small airport in the city of Exeter in the United Kingdom won first place, with an index of 88.6% of customer satisfaction. To get an idea, the local population does not exceed 120 thousand inhabitants.

In second place, tied with 88.4%, are the airports of Cork, Ireland, and Leonardo da Vince-Fiumicino, located in Rome and the busiest in Italy. Next came Dallas Fort Worth (87.3%) in the United States, and Newcastle International Airport (87%), also in the United Kingdom.

The ranking released by Happy Or Not shows the top eight, with a highlight to the United Kingdom, which has half the airports. Italy, the United States and Iceland complete the list. Data were collected during the last 12 months, between November 2016 and the last month, during which more than 120 thousand passenger assessments were recorded on various topics, including safety points, quality of services, state of the bathrooms and others .

BEST AND BEST POINTS
The Happy Or Not report also showed in more detail what pleases and annoys travelers around the globe. Of the experiences cited, security is the most exalted point by those who voted, with 84.6% satisfaction. Arrivals (80.7%), check-in (77%), quality of the bathrooms (74.4%) and collection of luggage (69.9%), experience that less pleases the customer, come in sequence.

WHEN IS BETTER TO FLY?
According to the votes counted by Happy Or Not, October and November are the most pleasant months for passengers, both with 83.5% satisfaction ratings, while July, with 80.9%, is the worst.

On days of the week, Tuesday (83.4%) are the days when travelers most like to fly, while the preferred time is between 9h (85.7%) and 8h (85.5%).

The most unpleasant days are Sunday (80%) and Saturday (80.7%), with 2 hours (71.3%) and 3 hours (71.9%) being the worst times.
