Partnership aims to promote the development of travel industry startups

In order to support its community of entrepreneurs, Start-Up Chile, one of the 10 most important business accelerators in the world, has entered into an agreement with Amadeus, a technology solutions company for the travel industry, which has just launched the first Program to support startups focused on tourism.

Start-Up Chile is a business acceleration program created by the Government of Chile for high-potential entrepreneurs seeking to promote their startups. Currently, it is the leading accelerator in Latin America and among the 10 largest in the world, possessing the largest and most diverse community of startups in the world.

Amadeus for Startups connects entrepreneurs to industry experts who will help advance the development process quickly and professionally, validate the business model and accelerate its adoption. It will also provide them with the ability to connect and learn about success stories through the Amadeus customer network, including the region’s leading online agencies.

This first Amadeus program for Latin America offers travel entrepreneurs a solution for every step and every need, whether for travel agencies, travel content providers, IT entrepreneurs or companies looking for support. Amadeus APIs will allow travel startups to access one of the world’s largest travel record content and leading flight search technology.

“We are proud to work together with one of the 10 most important accelerators in the world. Through our leadership in the travel industry, as well as our human knowledge and solutions, we will help Start-Up Chile travel businesses grow and expand more easily, “noted Martín Luna, Sales Engineering Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Start-Up Chile currently has a portfolio of more than 1300 startups, accepting around 300 companies a year by means of its three programs, The S Factory, Seed and Scale.
