About Fartura – Foods from Brazil

It is one of the main gastronomic platforms of the country. Born from Tiradentes Festival, which in 2018 completes 21 years, it aims to enhance the national gastronomy, creating connections between ingredients, recipes, producers, chefs and restaurants, through research and travel throughout the country.

The basis of the platform is the content that was mined during the Fartura Expedition, a journey that maps our diverse production chains. The Fartura team has been on the road since 2012, getting to know the recipes, stories and the most welcoming kitchens in the country. Throughout these years, the platform covered all Brazilian states, passing through 208 municipalities and running almost 100 thousand kilometers. Subsequently, all the material produced is disseminated in books, documentaries and radio programs, in addition to the events held throughout the year. This content is still available in the Portal Fartura, which brings recipes, stories and characters from the four corners of Brazil.
